Brief info
Melissa was born and raised in Florida and is a graduate of Saint Leo University. She has a master’s degree in business administration with a specialization in healthcare management. She started in the healthcare industry when she was just 15 years old, serving meals in the dining room of her local assisted living, and immediately knew it was her calling. Before finding her way into skilled nursing, Melissa worked as a certified nursing assistant (CNA), a sales associate in durable medical equipment, and then in the administrative office for Bayflite, an emergency air ambulance provider that was part of a level I trauma center. She feels that her career has come full circle since returning to Brooksville Healthcare Center, where she completed her administrator in training program in 2014.
